Paiko terms of use

Updated 1 October 2026

Using Paiko

Paiko helps you write invoices, quotes, and receipts and keep proof of payments. You are responsible for what you write on your slips and for following the tax and business rules where you trade.

Money

Paiko is not a bank, wallet, or payment service. It does not collect, hold, or send money. Mobile money, bank, and card payments happen outside Paiko. A payment photo is evidence you keep, not a guarantee that money arrived. Check your own statement.

Tax

Tax lines in Paiko are worked out from the rate you set, or from VAT, NHIL, and GETFund when a Ghana shop says it is registered. Paiko is not a certified tax or E-VAT system. Ask a tax adviser if you are unsure what your slips must show.

Your data

Your book belongs to you. Keep a backup. We are not responsible for data lost when a phone is lost, reset, or uninstalled without a backup. See the privacy policy for what Paiko stores.

Paid plans

Paiko Pro, when it is offered, is billed through Google Play. Prices are shown before you pay. You can cancel any time in Google Play, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

Fair use

Do not use Paiko to deceive customers, fake payment proof, or break the law.

No warranty

Paiko is provided as it is. We work to keep it correct and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of mistakes.
